A MESSAGE FROM COUSIN MARILYN BRENDEL:
Hi Everyone,
It’s time for our Johnson and Cline Family Reunion. Our last reunion was a success. Having it catered made it easier on everyone. Remember, this means you only need to bring yourself and your family members and leave the cooking to the catering company. However, in order to eat, you must mail me $10.00 per family member (kids 4 and under eat free). This is the same price we had two years ago.
The money must be mailed to me no later than Sunday, June 21, 2008. Please make the check payable to my daughter, Jane Roberts. Please DO NOT make the check out to me. Please send your check with the attached sheet so I will have a list of those planning to eat.
We will arrive at 11 am, eat at 1 pm, take pictures at 2 pm, and socialize the rest of the evening.
The menu will be:
Southern Baked and Fried Chicken
Baked Tavern Ham
Mash Potatoes and Gravy
Mixed Vegetable Casserole
Corn Casserole
Pasta Salad
Toss Salad
Rolls and Butter
Variety of Desserts
Variety of Drinks
Due to the expense of mailing everyone a letter, Please help by sharing this letter and information with all your family (brothers, sisters, daughters, sons, cousins, uncles, aunts…) for it is too difficult to contact everyone myself. Thanks so much for your help and I hope to see you there!!
We will be taking up a collection at the reunion to pay for the Pavilion (went up to $50 this year) plus help with the envelopes/stamps expense for the next reunion in 2011.
We were not able to schedule the Pavilion for August this year. The only date available was
July 11, 2009. We hope this date will be a success. We just didn’t have a choice.
